At the start of the session, the young people picked a badge out of a bucket. Each badge had either a frog, a rat, a pigeon, or a worm on it. The young people then split up into groups depending on which animal was on their badge, helping them to meet other young people who they might not have spoken to before!

In their groups, the young people worked together to design a fictional town for their unloved animal. This included creating a town flag, a statue, a currency, and a poster. At the end of the session, each group presented their town to everyone!

We also had some information for the young people to read on how to help unloved animals in the real world too, you can read more by swiping through!
