Over the summer, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer on a Gendered Intelligence summer camp working with trans youth from across the UK. This involved running scout activities such as a night line and peddle cars and supporting young people to express their identity. We also hosted a trans afternoon of joy where young people were able to share their stories, talk about a trans item of joy and have fun with different activities. Each night we also hosted a fire circle which brought out emotions as everyone talked about their own trans experiences, being a trans adult in this space felt very rewarding.
