Role - Chief Executive Officer

Type of contract – Permanent contract, subject to ongoing funding

Hours – 37.5 hours per week

Salary – £37,142

Benefits – 7% Employer pension contribution, flexible work pattern

As trustees,  we'd like to celebrate the brilliant job that Heather has done in her time working with and leading SAYiT. Her impact as CEO has been considerable and has led the charity through increasingly challenging times including during the Covid pandemic but also through times of increased hostility towards LGBTQ+ communities and the sector.  She has ensured that SAYIT has had a direct impact on the lives of LGBTQ+ young people as well as being a leading figure in supporting LGBTQ+ work in Sheffield, the region and across the country.  She is a pleasure to work with and we'd like to wish Heather huge congratulations on her new role where she will continue to make a significant difference to LGBTQ+ people. Her leaving date will be in July and I am sure we will be celebrating her achievements more then. 

The board is therefore now recruiting to this CEO post and we delighted that the advert has now gone live. The SAYiT CEO role is a unique and crucial job in leading and managing the charity and advocating for the needs of LGBTQ+ young people. We are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds from across the country who are passionate about improving outcomes for LGBTQ+ young people.
